Retail Display giant HL reached out to us wanting to communicate their brand history through an animated short. Behind this idea was an upcoming redesign of the HL brand and a new logotype. The style of this short was supposed to be simple yet interesting and informative. From a single mans innovation in a basement in Borlänge, Sweden, to an international giant in the retail store market. There is always a challenge when communicating a long and rich story in a limited amount of time while still keeping it interesting to the observer. This was our take on it.
